INVITATION
A document written or printed, or spoken words, /conveying the
message by which one is invited.
Invitations
can also be interpreted with a request (spoken or written) to participate or be
present or take part in something.
There are two types of Invitation :
1. Formal Invitation
2. Informal Invitation
1. Formal
Invitation
A Formal Invitation is generally
written in third person, and contains no heading, no salutation, and no
complimentary close. The writer’s name should appear in the body of the invitation.
The address of the writer and the date should be written to the left, below the
communication.

Informal Invitation
Informal invitations are often not written at all,
of course, but if you do decide to write to your guests or email them, remember
to include full details of the time and location of the event.
